Google Business Profile

Keep your Google listing alive

A profile that has not been touched in months looks shut. GrowStart writes and schedules the posts, publishes the photos, and shows you what actually moved — calls, directions, clicks — against where you started.

Free plan available. No card needed to start.

Your Google listing is the first thing most local customers see, and for most small businesses it was filled in once and never opened again. Google notices, and so does anyone comparing you against the shop down the road that posts every week.

The work is not hard, it is just relentless: something new every few days, forever. That is the part GrowStart takes.

What you get

A profile that has not been touched in months looks shut. GrowStart writes and schedules the posts, publishes the photos, and shows you what actually moved — calls, directions, clicks — against where you started.

Posts written for your business

An offer, an update, something seasonal — drafted from what you actually sell, not from a generic template you have to rewrite.

Written so Google does not reject them

Phone numbers, emails, links and hashtags in a post body are grounds for rejection. Every post is stripped of them before it publishes, whoever wrote it — the AI or you.

Scheduled, then published on their own

Queue posts ahead and they go out when due. A steady two to four a week is what an active profile looks like, and it happens without you.

Photos onto the listing

New pictures go straight to your Google gallery, which is the other half of looking open for business.

What it actually did

Calls, direction requests, website clicks, and how often you appeared in Maps and Search — on mobile and desktop, pulled live from Google.

Measured from where you started

Your numbers are snapshotted the first time you connect, so the comparison is against your real starting point rather than a vague sense of improvement.

How it works

Three steps, and the first one is the only setup.

  1. Connect your Google Business Profile

One sign-in with the Google account that already manages your listing. Nothing is posted until you decide.

  2. Let the posts build up

Drafts are written from your business details. Approve them, edit them, or schedule a run of them ahead.

  3. Watch the numbers move

Calls, directions and clicks are compared against your starting point, so you can see whether the activity is doing anything.

Questions

Why do Google posts get rejected?

The most common reason is contact details in the post body — a phone number, an email, a link, or hashtags. Google wants the call-to-action to be the button, not the text. GrowStart strips those out of every post before it publishes, including posts you wrote yourself.

How often should I post?

Steadily rather than in bursts. Two to four a week is what an active profile looks like, and posts can be scheduled ahead so a busy fortnight does not leave a gap.

Will this improve where I rank?

An active profile is one of several things local ranking responds to, alongside reviews and a complete listing. No tool can promise a position — what you get here is the activity done consistently, and the numbers to see whether it is working.

Do I have to approve everything?

Posts are drafts until you publish or schedule them. Nothing appears on your listing that you have not seen.
